FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How fast can traffic really return?
At 70 F the mender gels in about 90 seconds and takes forklift traffic in roughly an hour. Colder slabs slow that somewhat; freezer-rated formulations and warm-material practices keep even cold-storage repairs same-shift.
What is the difference between the mender and the joint fill?
The mender is a structural repair for cracks, spalls and divots, rigid enough to rebuild edges. The joint fill is semi-rigid on purpose: it supports hard wheels crossing a control joint while still flexing as the slab moves. Using mender in a working joint is the most common DIY mistake we prevent.
Can I coat over a fresh repair?
Yes, that is the designed workflow. Repairs shave flush within the hour and accept the wear coating the same day, so repair-and-coat projects finish in one shutdown.
How do I estimate quantities?
Send joint linear footage with average width and depth, or spall dimensions, through the contact form. We will run the coverage math and quote with a sensible overage, not a padded one.
Does it work in freezers without shutting them down?
The cold-service formulations cure at freezer temperatures, so cold chain facilities routinely repair floors without warming the room. Mention your room temperature when ordering and we supply the right speed.
Do you have a dealer program for concrete contractors?
Yes. Repair contractors and industrial supply houses can stock the line at dealer terms, with territory consideration and application training included. Ask for the dealer sheet through the contact page.
