Concrete Never Gets a Day Off
Neither do the products that repair it. Every application below is rated by one metric first: time back to traffic.
Get Concrete PricingThe Downtime Problem
Concrete repair has never really been a materials problem; portland cement patches have existed forever. It is a downtime problem. A spalled control joint in a distribution aisle does not just damage forklifts, it closes a lane, and a closed lane in a busy facility costs more per hour than the repair material costs per pail. WatchGuard Concrete was built around that arithmetic: polyurea repair chemistry that gels in about ninety seconds, shaves flush in minutes and takes hard wheels in roughly an hour, installed with nothing more exotic than a dual-cartridge gun or a small plural-component pump.
The applications below are the ones our concrete customers repeat month after month. All quantities scale from a single cartridge to totes for standing maintenance programs.
Warehouse Joints and Spalls
Control joints are the wear point of every slab, and hard forklift wheels turn small edge failures into craters fast. The standard program: saw or rout the failed joint, fill with fast-set semi-rigid joint fill, shave flush, reopen the aisle inside the shift. Spalls and divots get the same chemistry blended with dried sand as a trowelable mortar.
Maintenance crews typically stock cartridges for spot repairs and schedule bulk campaigns during inventory shutdowns.
Docks, Aprons and Municipal Flatwork
Exterior concrete adds freeze-thaw and deicing salts to the abuse list. Dock aprons, loading ramps, fuel islands and municipal sidewalks all take the same fast-set mender, formulated to remain flexible through thermal cycling instead of popping out the first winter like rigid patches do. Ninety-second gel means even cold-weather windows are workable with standard cold-temperature practices.
Municipal buyers: bid documentation and unit pricing formats are available on request.
Coated Wear Surfaces and Cold Storage
Repair keeps a slab alive; coating keeps it from dying again. Over a sound or newly repaired slab, WatchGuard Concrete wear coatings put down a 100 percent solids surface that resists abrasion at three to five times the rate of standard epoxy, holds up under wash chemistry and gives back a floor the next morning. In cold storage the fast-set chemistry earns its keep twice: menders that cure at freezer temperatures let repairs happen without warming the room, which is a line item every cold chain manager understands.
Typical installs include distribution aisles, production floors, wash bays, mechanical rooms and freezer floors down to deep-frost service. If your slab problem is not on this page, describe it anyway; concrete rarely surprises us anymore.
